Have you been thinking about adding STI testing to your list of services? STIs can have serious health consequences. People with STIs do not always experience disease symptoms, but, if left untreated, STIs can cause chronic pelvic pain, pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, and/or severe pregnancy and newborn complications. By adding STI services in our communities, we will reach individuals that we may not have reached before. We will increase the opportunities to develop relationships, provide holistic client care and education, and be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community. These relationships generate clients who are likely to return to us when they experience crisis. Join me as we discover what is needed to launch STI services in your center.
