This webinar focuses on women, opioid use during pregnancy, and resources for
helping the myriad of complexities that arise throughout pre-, peri-, and post-natal phases. A
model of the image of God in women is presented which can help organize and focus
rehabilitative and restorative services provided by those in the pregnancy help movement.
Unique aspects of women and addiction are presented with specific emphasis on opioids,
assessment, and treatment considerations. Components of comprehensive treatment are
discussed in light of a definition of recovery.
